If you sell THCA flower, concentrates, or other hemp-derived cannabinoid products, Texas has become one of the most important states to watch.

Beginning July 31, 2026, Texas started enforcing new rules that dramatically change which hemp-derived THC products can legally be sold in the state.

What Changed?

For several years, many hemp businesses legally sold products containing cannabinoids such as:

* THCA Flower
* Delta-8 THC
* Delta-10 THC
* THCP
* Other intoxicating hemp-derived cannabinoids

These products existed because federal hemp laws primarily measured Delta-9 THC, not other cannabinoids.

However, Texas has now moved to enforce much stricter regulations.
